"I have never gotten such an overwhelmingly positive response to any presenter I have hired, and I have been doing this for thirty years!  I just don't know where to begin to thank you!  So many participants have remarked that it was our best conference ever...and we've had some highly successful conferences over our seven year history!"
--Mary Budrawich, Early Childhood Specialist, Norwalk Public Schools

About Julie Bartkus

Julie Bartkus is the president and founder of Motivate Teachers.  Motivate Teachers is an internationally known company that helps child care professionals create dynamic, positive, and productive environments for working and learning through customized keynote presentations, workshops, coaching and consulting services.

Julie has spent the past decade researching constructive and destructive communication patterns and the impacts of each on child care programs throughout the United States and beyond.  As a result of her research, she developed a specific step-by-step plan of action to help child care leaders manage, motivate, and retain great staff.  Her plan of action targets the elimination of destructive communication patterns (including gossip) and the breaking down of communication barriers that often prevent staff from functioning as a dynamic team.

Julie is the author of an audio program and leader’s guide designed to help child care leaders eliminate workplace gossip.  Learn more.

She is also the producer and host of The Leadership Connection, a monthly audio and coaching program for leaders in the child care profession.  Learn more.

Her book, A Child Care Professional’s Guide To Constructive Communication will be released this fall.
